MINUTES OF THE BOARD OF THE 
RAYMORE-PECULIAR BAND BOOSTERS CLUB, INC THURSDAY - JULY 14TH, 2022 
The regular meeting of the Raymore-Peculiar Band Boosters Club was held in the band room. Those in attendance were: Zach Shupe, Libby Craig, Bobbi Bond, Marian Pfeiler, Seina Pfeiler, Shenelle Mourning, Michelle Helzer, Melissa Guyer, Melissa Adams, Jason Heuwinkel, Lisa Sorge, Sam Musfelt, Tristan Musfelt, Damien Musfelt, Vada Musfelt and Moira Musfelt. 
The meeting was called to order promptly at 7:00pm by Zach Shupe and Libby Craig. ● Introductions 
● Meeting Expectations and Bylaws Objectives: 
○ Assist the RP Band program and directors 
○ Promote enthusiasm and commitment to band among students, parents, school board and communities 
● Support instrumental music education throughout the district 
● To raise funds to finance or partially finance activities related to music education 
Business Reports: 
Libby Craig amended minutes for the spelling of the last name Musfeldt to correct the spelling to Musfelt. Motion to approve minutes for June 16th booster meeting was made by Lisa Sorge, seconded by Tristan Musfelt 
Directors Report: Tag Team - Zach Shupe & Jennifer Gibson (texting in)
● Drill is done, First Movement, written and paid - waiting to hear from drill writer
● Band Dads want drill for movement 4 props will be on PDFs 
● Took care of the locks, waiting on hitch lock, turned in receipts, might resend
● Hawaii Trip - Last Day for refund is July 22nd, July 31st is last day to sign up for current pricing 
President Report: Libby Craig 
● No Report 
● Asked again for the key to the shed and one was discovered 
● Would like to order show shirts for this year through Meyer Music-need design from kids in Leadership- Zach Shupe will help 
Treasurer Report: Marian Pfeiler 
● Working on the final stages of wrapping up financials. Still can send in payments
● Received the colors,120 bags for the Color Wars for July 28th Kick Off Event and are now in the band room
● Bank account at 50K with 38K attributed from the students. Low response from kids and families for their fees to be paid from their transfers of “Charms” Account and apply money 
● New Fees - New Members $382.00 - Returning $322.00 
● Big change in fees - no overnights, as the big trip is Hawaii 
● Need fees for Color Guard 
● Deposit was made for uniforms - Color Guard 
● RayPec Band will be #5 this year in the Raymore Parade and will stage at Shadow Glen because of Competition at Blue Springs 
Uniforms: Lisa Sorge 
● Tuesday, August 2nd through August 5th starting at 8am 
Fitting Uniforms first week of Band Camp - Starting with Seniors. Need help all week from 8am-2pm - work to mark uniforms for sizing - check hats - gloves - Kids can help - Need volunteers - even an hour of your time will help
Color Guard: Melissa Adams 
Had one pre-practice - actually starts Monday, July 25th 
Fundraising Committee: Bobbi Bond 
● Trash Bag Fundraiser coming July 28th. Trash bags will sell for $12.00 per roll
● Mums Fundraiser will be slightly different this year. No Large Mums due to high pricing. Only 9” pot mums will be available - these will be 12”-16” across-selling at $15.00 a pot 
● Butterbraids and Restaurant Fundraisers still working on them
● Working on Shivers for Band Camp on August 5th 
● Tee shirts with New Logo are going to print and hope to have at Band Kick Off
● FanAngels might consider to do again 
● Fireworks Stand will revisit options next year 
Chuckwagon: Bobbi Bond 
No report - Need to get information from Victoria 
Band Dads: Jason Heuwinkel 
● Need picture for stands for props - Zach Shupe will get dimensions to scale
● Planning to cook hot dogs for Kick Off on July 28th 
New Business: 
Fundraiser: Michelle Helzer- New RP Band Logo was presented on a tumbler, water bottles, luggage tag & key chain. Items will be displayed at Kick Off and will be available through a Fundraiser starting August 2nd 
Jazz Band - Zach Schupe - will be changing from a Jazz Band Concert to a Jazz Band Showcase which will be outdoors - A Spring Event in March. More information to follow
