MINUTES OF THE BOARD OF THE
 RAYMORE-PECULIAR BAND BOOSTERS CLUB, INC. 
TUESDAY – DECEMBER 13, 2022

The regular meeting of the Raymore-Peculiar Band Boosters Club was held in the band room. Those in attendance were: Jennifer Gibson, Libby Craig, Jenna Craig, Bobbi Bond, Marian Pfeiler, Seina Pfeiler, Michelle Helzer, Chacque Chandler, Lisa Sorge, Melissa Guyer, Madi Hoffman, Nicole Hoffman, Melissa Adams, Tanya Moody, Lee Anne Thompson, Chris Thompson, 
The meeting was called to order at 7:05pm by Libby Craig

• Meeting Expectations and Bylaws Objectives:
  

• Assist the RP Band programs and directors
  
• Promote enthusiasm and commitment to band among students, parents, school board, and communities
  

• Support instrumental music education throughout the district
  
• To raise funds to finance or partially finance activities related to music education
  

Business Report:
 Motion to approve minutes for November booster meeting was made by Jennifer Gibson, seconded by Lisa Sorge
Directors Report: Jennifer Gibson

• Huge Thank you to Joe O’Neal for his talent in the Holiday Concert.
  
• Great Trip to Hawaii, Mr. Miller was selected at the Polynesian Cultural Center to go on stage and represent the Tonga presentation and was presented a Tonga pin.
  
• Thank you to all the chaperones for your help on the trip.
  
• Hawaii Parade is on RayPec YouTube. Special thanks to Stacy Johnson who took the video.  Also search Waikiki Holiday 2022 Parade 
  
• 36 made All District Band and 16 went to State, no one made State Auditions
  
• Great Holiday Concert 
  
• Solo or ensemble season starts soon. Freshman & Sophomore ensemble instead of solo

Uniform Report: Melissa Adams

• White shirts arrived and all fit
  
• Need to return bibbers from the trip
  

Color Guard:  Melissa Guyer

• Received mat
  
• Starting January 28th there all 7 competitions through April 
  

Fundraising Committee: Bobbi Bond

• Mattress Fundraiser went fine, 12-15 total.
  

• Father/Daughter Dance - will be Saturday Night, February 11, 2023 at the High School.  Will need Band Booster and Students help on Tuesday evenings & Saturdays if needed
  
  • Chairs for Event - Nicole H - DJ, contract and candy table, Jill - Flyer communication. Libby S -Donations, Andrea S -Peculiar/Raymore Donations, Stephanie D - Decoration guidance and needs a  budget, 
    

Kelsey - guidance & looking into professional photography - Digital Download and QR code - also checking 360 photography, Cricut souvenirs, like hair bows and stickers. 

• Pizza Table from 6-7pm being discussed, Candy Donations needed, Gift Card donations needed, coat check needed
  
• Games will be in the front gym
  
• Face Painting being discussed
  
• No TShirts for this event because it's a risk and going with Cricut souvenirs
  
• If you purchase supplies for the Father/Daughter Event, reimbursement will be case by case
  
• February 18th will be back up date if needed
  

• Moving Trash Bag Fundraiser to the Spring
  
• NEW FUNDRAISER IDEAS - 50/50 raffle during the concerts, sell cookies after concerts, sell pumpkin pies around Thanksgiving
  

Chuckwagon: Bobbi Bond
Will supply breakfast for those going to Warrensburg,  January 7th trip 
Treasurer Report: Marian Pfeiler

• Checking $4800,  Savings at $4700, 2 per diem checks in November still not cleared,
  
• MHCLeasing is all complete. Billed twice for Odessa but corrected now
  
• Have received requests to pay Jazz Band from Charms funds
