Important Information
HOW DO WE PICK AN INSTRUMENT?
Picking an instrument is a big decision and we will help you through the process.
All 5th Grade Students will try out different instruments during their middle school building tours on February 21, 2024 (South) and February 22, 2024 (East).
Students will get help from someone who plays the instrument they are trying.
In the days after trying the instruments, parents and students should talk through the options. Parents will complete the TOP 3 Form to let us know their child's first, second, and third favorite choices.
We will try to get you on your top choice as long as that instrument section doesn't get too full. If an instrument section gets too full, some students will be offered their 2nd or 3rd choice of instrument.
If your child was not at school they day we tried instruments, you can still complete the TOP 3 form at the end of this page. You will choose your TOP THREE instruments based on the videos and which ones you like the best.
Families will receive an email around March 11 notifying you which instrument your child is approved to play.
Note: If the cost of an instrument is a factor in your decision, make sure to review the estimated costs listed below on this page.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
The cost depends on the instrument. Meyer Music is our local instrument stop partners. They offer instruments for purchase and rent-to-own.
