STARRY NIGHT
The father-daughter dance is held annually as a fundraiser for the RP Band Department.  
The dance is held for all K-5th grade girls within our school district.

The dance is a HUGE undertaking each year and we need as many helping hands as we can get to help pull off a memorable evening! We encourage ALL students and parents to lend a hand.  
Students can earn fundraising money for hours they contribute towards the dance.

HOW CAN STUDENTS EARN MONEY? 
The father-daughter dance is our largest fundraising event of the year!

• Students can earn money towards their individual band account (IBA) by attending during work sessions prior to the dance.
• Students can earn money towards their IBA by working the night of the event.
• One adult per student can work at each work session or at the event to also earn money toward a student's IBA.
• Net Profits from the dance (after expenses and Band Boosters portion) will be divided up by total student hours worked and distributed to each student based on the number of hours they contributed towards the dance.

 OPPORTUNITIES TO HELP:​​

• Friday, February 7th, 6-9pm - Setup - Meet in the SMS Front Commons Area
• Saturday, February 8th, 9am-12pm - Setup - Meet in the SMS Front Commons Area
• Saturday, February 8th, 5:00-9:30pm - Event/Cleanup - Meet in the SMS Front Commons Area​
• Additional work sessions will be added as needed and communicated to all band students.
